Just a quick something I thought I’d share! This is one of my favourite memories, just before Christmas, when me and Harry voyaged into Oxford for a bit of last minute shopping. We stumbled across this peculiar man who appeared to be levitating in this odd position. One particular thing I remember is having to ask Harry to take the photo, due to the fact I was simply too small to see!
Enjoyed meeting and chatting to Michael on a cold, snowy day. He’s a plasterer and was happy for me to take his photo. Meeting interesting people is one of the joys of street photography.

The Others. The photos of mine that aren’t set up and aren’t choreographed. These are the shots that I get when I’m lugging my camera around with me to parties on the weekend, walking down the street, or even just unplanned photos that I take when I’m on location at an actual shoot. They are typically not composed creatively and shot with a tiny DOF, but done so intentionally as I find these features necessary to achieve what my main purpose behind these photos are.
My main goal with this photo was social commentary on alcohol. I have no problem with alcohol and drinking and getting drunk, It’s not really my thing anymore, but in saying that I have no problem with people that do it. Shanghai, China. January 2013
Cosmopolitan is the word I’ve heard the most when I hear and read about Shanghai. It is every bit true and in my experience, Shanghai is a tad less hectic than Beijing.

A chance meeting with Daniel Spree, in my home city, led to this photo. I enjoyed chatting with musician Daniel, who is Bass player with The Drills.
