The Others. The photos of mine that aren’t set up and aren’t choreographed. These are the shots that I get when I’m lugging my camera around with me to parties on the weekend, walking down the street, or even just unplanned photos that I take when I’m on location at an actual shoot. They are typically not composed creatively and shot with a tiny DOF, but done so intentionally as I find these features necessary to achieve what my main purpose behind these photos are.

My main goal with this photo was social commentary on alcohol. I have no problem with alcohol and drinking and getting drunk, It’s not really my thing anymore, but in saying that I have no problem with people that do it. But as I sat on the lounge looking at my friends, I couldn’t help think it was interesting how alcohol effects people’s emotions differently. This was shot on my 5D mkii and all I did was lift…
